Accounts and projects
CapyRecap uses account information to sign you in and associate your projects, sources and study sessions with your account. Authentication uses secure cookies. Signing in with Apple or Google also involves the provider you select.
Processing your sources
Uploaded content and linked sources are processed to retrieve text and generate course plans and study activities. These operations use storage, document processing and AI services. Your source content is included in the processing needed for the features you request.
Voice features
Voice modes process audio for transcription and spoken responses. Oral flashcards request microphone access when you record an answer; the transcript is used to assess your answer. You can stop recording or leave the activity to release the microphone.
Sharing and analytics
Private projects require an authenticated account. A course you publish is accessible to visitors through its public URL and the course catalog. Source names are listed with the public course. Enabling public document access also lets visitors open or download those sources. Review the publication settings before sharing information.
The website uses Google Analytics to measure visits and usage. Service requests also use request identifiers to diagnose errors. See Google’s privacy policy for information about Google’s processing.
